Senior Operations Analyst - Hedge Fund - NEWCASTLE A rather unique buy-side opportunity is available to an established operations/trade support professional looking to relocate to Newcastle-Upon-Tyne.

A rapidly expanding outsourced service provider (Newcastle city centre office) that has partnered with a market-leading hedge fund exclusively, providing a range of support services, is looking to make their first operations/trade support hire.
We are looking to hire an experienced operations professional, initially stand-alone, albeit there is headcount to hire a junior to work alongside him/her (with further growth plans beyond this).
The hire/team will take ownership for a variety of daily BAU tasks (from current London-based ops/MO staff at the hedge fund) and manage particularly tricky bottlenecks during certain periods.
Whilst this is an outsourced service, the hire can still expect to work closely with the London operations/middle office team, senior management, and also the investment process/team.
As the first operations hire, there is strong growth potential and the opportunity to lead the build-out of the outsourced operations function (alongside Newcastle-based managing partners and senior non-investment heads in London).
Candidates should have 5-10 years of operations/trade support experience.
We are open to both banking and hedge fund backgrounds.
A strong background in derivatives and an excellent academic profile are desired.
