Senior Mechanical Sprinkler Service Engineer - London
FAFS Fire & Security specialise in designing, installing, commissioning and servicing automatic Fire Detection, Protection and Alarm Systems in and around Greater London. We are currently looking to appoint a new Mechanical Sprinkler Service Engineer specifically covering the London region.
Basic Salary – £40-50,000 per annum subject to experience

ResponsibilitiesAs a Mechanical Sprinkler Service Engineer, you will:
Carry out servicing and remedial works of Sprinkler Systems, Fire Hydrants, Fire Hose Reels, Dry/Wet Risers in accordance with the latest British and EN standards on small and large projects across the UK. Undertake Mechanical Servicing and Remedial works of Fire Hydrants, Fire Hose Reels, Fire Risers and Sprinkler Systems. Forward plan regarding the parts requirements on installation works, placing parts orders, liaising with site management and coordinating with other trades. Work both independently and as part of the wider Sprinkler Department on installation and service works. Provide information to quote to upgrade or modify these systems in relation to manufacturers and industry guidelines and discuss these requirements with new and existing customers. Receive field support and training for all disciplines undertaken. Who We're Looking ForWe are looking for candidates who offer:
At least 5 years experience in a Sprinkler Engineer position/Mechanical pipe installation. Extensive knowledge of both commercial and residential sprinkler systems, ability to carry system changeovers, and competence with fire alarms and all kinds of commercial sprinkler systems. A working practice of BS9251. Demonstrable technical experience with good interpersonal skills. Experience working in the field independently. Flexibility to work across single and multiple site locations. Full Driving Licence.
