This role requires a proven marketing professional with over five years of experience in life sciences marketing to shape and execute the company's marketing strategies, playing a critical role in its growth and success.
The Role: The Senior Marketing Manager will take full ownership of the company's marketing initiatives, working on-site in Cambridge for at least four days per week.
This is a hands-on role, ideal for an experienced marketer who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities: Marketing Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan to build brand recognition, drive product adoption, and achieve business objectives.
Identify and capitalize on market opportunities by analyzing customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activity.
Product Launches & Marketing: Lead the go-to-market strategy for new products, ensuring messaging, positioning, and campaigns resonate with target audiences.
Collaborate closely with R&D and sales teams to clearly communicate product features and benefits.
Content Development: Oversee the creation of high-quality, targeted marketing materials, including white papers, brochures, case studies, and online content.
Deliver impactful digital marketing campaigns using SEO, social media, email, and web-based strategies to maximize engagement and lead generation.
Events & Conferences: Represent the company at trade shows, customer events, and conferences, promoting the brand and gathering market insights.
Coordinate the company's presence at industry events to maximize visibility and impact.
Metrics & Performance: Monitor and evaluate the success of marketing campaigns, providing data-driven recommendations to optimize future initiatives.
About You: Required Experience & Skills: A minimum of 5 years of experience in life sciences marketing, ideally within the biotech, laboratory equipment, or scientific instrumentation sectors.
Strong understanding of the life sciences market, including key customer personas such as researchers and lab managers.
Proven experience leading successful product launches and managing end-to-end marketing campaigns.
Exceptional communication and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Proficiency with marketing platforms and tools, such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Google Analytics.
Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
Additional Requirements: Ability to work on-site in Cambridge for a minimum of four days per week.
Willingness to travel occasionally for trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings.
