As Senior Legal Counsel, you'll provide legal advice and support to the business on commercial and operational matters.
This will include supporting local market regions within EMEA (such as Central and Eastern Europe (CEE)) and across as needed.
You'll be the first point of contact for all legal matters arising in the designated market regions as well as being legal lead for various projects arising across.
Essential Functions & Accountabilities: As part of the EMEA legal team, provide guidance and support on all legal matters in the designated market regions, as well as being legal lead for various projects in EMEA and across.
Responsible for structuring, negotiating and drafting various significant strategic and operations commercial contracts including supply, distribution, purchase and outsourcing agreements.
Proactively assess potential legal risks to the business and work with management and the EMEA / Global legal team to devise and implement systems and solutions to manage these potential risks, including delivering preventative training and communications.
Support Sales and Marketing teams, including advising in relation to EMEA promotions, campaigns and advertising, ensuring compliance with EU law (including competition laws), local laws and governance.
Instruct and manage external counsel, where required, to ensure local law compliance and effectively manage litigation.
Support all enabling functions (including Sales and Marketing, HR and Finance) on legal issues.
Have a good understanding of competition laws in the EU, and their application and interpretation in an international organization.
Proactively partner and work with other Companies, Inc lawyers to drive local alignment with global best practices and action knowledge sharing.

About you: You'll be a fully qualified, experienced UK commercial lawyer, with relatable experience of working within a practise or an in-house lawyer role.
Minimum of 6 years PQE, although candidates with slightly less experience who meet the other criteria are encouraged to apply.
You'll have a broad base of generalist commercial experience, be an excellent communicator at all levels and ideally have operated within an international environment within a large organisation..
