Senior Lab Support Technician

SRG are delighted to be engaged again by an early stage chemicals research & manufacturing company to help in their search for a senior laboratory support technician to work in their new labs based in Biocity in Coatbridge.This company have undergone massive growth, both financially and in their people over the past 2 years and have now expanded into new laboratories to house their synthetic chemistry team and are looking for a senior laboratory support technician to support this lab environment.The roleAs senior lab support technician you will work closely with the lead chemist & laboratory manager to ensure the maintenance of chemical stock, equipment, glassware and documentation.
This will include a wider variety of responsibilities including;Lab equipment servicingChemical Stock & Stores ManagementAssisting with purchasingManaging receipt of goodsThe right personEducated to HNC level or above in chemistry, or relatedPrior experience in a chemicals laboratoryDemonstrable knowledge of lab safetyThis is a permanent position with a rapidly growing company with great potential for career development
