Job Description You will also be accountable for the delivery of operational services globally that are consistently measured and evaluated to ensure operational excellence, and value driven delivery incorporating continuous improvement. Key responsibilities for this role are as follows:
Build and maintain a high performing team that delivers Infrastructure services including platform, cloud, network, end user computing and service delivery globally.Design, create, and oversee a cohesive IT Service Management (ITSM) environment that aligns with industry best practices, established processes, and relevant toolsets.Ensure the adoption of (and commitment towards) service improvements aligned to a continuous improvement plan.Foster innovative capabilities within the team that drive a competitive advantage and boost productivity.Continuously evaluate the performance of I&O, including the use of metrics such as Key Performance Indicators, Outcome Driven Metrics and Objectives and Key Results.Shape the infrastructure and operations sourcing strategy based on a comprehensive understanding of the supplier landscape.Cultivate successful relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, build an understanding of business needs and act as a trusted advisor.Support periodic reviews by audit teams, compliance teams, and other risk-related functions as necessary.Develop technology road-maps for key service lines aligned to IS strategy and business objectives, while staying informed about industry trends and provide input in to incorporating emerging technologies in to IS service provision aligned to the IS strategy.Work closely with Global IS Projects and IS Transformation manager around global service sustainment and evergreening of the IS estate, while ensuring support is aligned to deliverables.Collaborate with Global IS Security to ensure I&O actively contributes, embraces, and applies security strategies.Manage the I&O Budget and promote a culture of continuous cost review and optimisation.May be required to provide out-of-hours support via an on-call rota duty manager rota.The Successful Applicant Key details include:
Experience in developing strategies and technology roadmaps.Build cloud management solutions, including software development, integration, and ongoing engineering aspects.Apply AI / ML to solve large data challenges and / or to enhance the customer experience.Budget planning and financial management, preferably with prior experience in chargeback models.Deep understanding of current and emerging I&O technologies and practices, and how other enterprises are employing them.Establish and improve DevOps, as well as other working practices (e.g., ITIL).Third-party management, working closely with sourcing and vendor managers.Leading cloud adoption (at scale), including establishing governance mechanisms, delivering migration projects and modifying I&O's target operating model.Developing governance practices to track and measure the quality of services, and maintain service improvement plans.Strong business acumen, including industry, domain-specific knowledge of the enterprise and its business units.Consolidating operations capabilities in large, complex enterprise organisations to deliver improved efficiency, while balancing customer preferences for agility.Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning and execution skills.Develop staff including coaching, mentoring and performance management.Maximize effectiveness of nearshore / offshore resource models.What's on Offer This role is offering:
