Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for anenthusiastic, pro-active team player to join the Performance and Informaticsservice.
You will be responsible for the production of timelyand accurate information for the Trusts Children Young PeopleandFamilies & Specialist Primary Care Service Delivery Unit includingmonitoring of waiting times for this service.You will need strong data analytical skills, problemsolving abilities, excellent communication skills and enjoy working flexiblyunder pressure in a small busy team.
As the Trust moves to a more automatedreporting process, you will have the opportunity to use and develop skills toinfluence how reporting will be accessible in the future.In addition to experience in an informationrole and working with the NHS, you will need to demonstrate the ability tointerpret and report data in a format which is understood by operational staff,senior management and external stakeholders.
Experience of writing SQL, PowerBI and Excel is essential.The role is hours over 5 days per weekand will involve working from our Trust HQ in Worcester and home working.
Main duties of the job You will be responsible for theprovision of information and data management to support all business areas ofthe Service Delivery Unit.
The key objectives of the post are: Collate, validate, analyse andpresent patient activity and information to support performance management,commissioning and the Service Delivery Unit Senior Management.Compile and submit data fornational and local statutory returns.Be responsible for theproduction of waiting list information including information to support waitinglist initiatives.
Bring to the attention of senior managers any anomalies ininformation and details of any potential breaches of targets.
Represent the department atinternal and external meetings regarding the information and data needs of theorganisation.
Be responsible forensuring the completeness and quality of data relating to the Trust andresolving any issues in a timely manner.
