JG Hale Group Ltd. Is a multi-award winning company delivering major construction projects across South Wales for Local Authorities, Housing Associations and the private market, ranging in value from £5 to £50 million.
JG Hale Group has experienced steady growth over recent years and our continued expansion is creating exciting opportunities to grow our experienced team.
We are looking to appoint a Senior Estimator to join our commercial department.
Reporting to our Commercial Director, the successful candidate will work closely with our development and construction departments, as well as consultants and sub-contractors, to fully estimate both tendered and package deal opportunities.

Responsibilities
As Senior Estimator, the successful candidate's will work on both residential and commercial tenders and their main responsibility will be to ensure that all estimates for tenders and internal package deals are fully completed, on time.
Other responsibilities will include:
Preparation of detailed quantities and rates.
Organising subcontract enquires and analysing subcontract quotations ensuring that they encompass all employer's requirements Reporting to Commercial and Managing Directors at various stages during the tender process.
Completing tenders in a timely manner and preparing submission correspondence etc.
Compiling Value Engineering Schedules when necessary.
Qualifications
Education to BSc/HNC level in construction/QS or similar.
Essential skills
Estimating Experience.
Proficient use of Microsoft packages including Excel, Word and Project.
Working as part of a team.
Time management.
Full clean UK driving licence Previous experience in a similar role We are offering an extremely competitive salary depending on experience and skills.
The role is full time and permanent, working 39 hours per week on a flexible basis and core hours of 9.00am until 14.00pm each day with 33 days annual leave (pro rata and inclusive of bank holidays).
