Create Solutions that will enable a better tomorrow To assist our engineering geology team, we are looking for a Senior Engineer to join us.
Working on rock engineering and geological projects, you'll oversee the production and delivery of calculations, drawing, specifications, and technical reports in line with the project programme.
For this position we would also be keen to look at experienced engineers who are looking to make the next step in their career to a senior position.
Your key responsibilities will be: Checking and assessing a wide range of both new and existing rock engineering and engineering geological projects Taking a leading role on the delivery of projects in your field and support the management of risk on the project by participating in inter-discipline reviews and close out review finding Overseeing the production and delivery of the geotechnical calculations, drawing, specifications, and technical reports in line with the project programme Checking and reviewing of reports and calculations Work in collaboration with other design disciplines to ensure integrity of the overall design solution Ensuring quality, safety and environment are ensured through use of the Integrated Management System Participation in the resolution of technical issues Your skills.

On top of that, you'll have: Be a chartered engineering geologist or geotechnical engineer (CGeol, CEng or equivalent) Have experience in a design environment working on complex rock engineering and engineering geological projects in the UK or internationally Experience working in a design environment (some site experience as well is preferred) A working knowledge of a range of geotechnical software and rock engineering software (e.g.
Rocscience software packages) Experience in planning, supervising, and designing elements of a project, with the ability to apply current standards and technical best practice Well-rounded geotechnical design experience The ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with people at all levels, across the project organisation and externally with demonstrated ability to prepare project reports Full UK driving licence
