Key Responsibilities: Lead electrical engineering efforts on large-scale data centre projects, ensuring project objectives are met on time and within budget.
Effectively communicate complex technical information to a wide range of stakeholders, including clients and colleagues across various disciplines.
Verify and review design work completed by other engineers, providing guidance and mentoring to less experienced team members and project coordinators.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet both client specifications and industry standards.
Lead investigations and implementation of electrical safety protocols, including SCCAF (Short Circuit Current Analysis and Fault) studies.
Manage and oversee prefabrication, modular construction, and manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and quality in project execution.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, particularly in data centre infrastructure.
Extensive expertise in electrical design, including utility substations (HV), power distribution systems (MV & LV), UPS, and backup power systems.
Proven knowledge of electrical safety standards and protocols, with experience in SCCAF investigations.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex data centre electrical systems within set deadlines and budgets.
Experience with prefabrication and modular building processes is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor, coach, and develop junior engineers.
