You will be drive the technical direction of projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices and collaborate with external teams including product and other development teams to successfully deliver product and integration features.
This is a hybrid position where you will work from Aptia office in Chichester as well as from your home address.
This role will initially be a 12 months contract, with potential scope to extend.

Mentor junior developers, fostering their growth and professional development.
Champion good agile practices that are foundational to product delivery.
Attend and contribute to team ceremonies including Retrospectives, Sprint planning, Analysis activities and Sprint reviews to ensuring timely delivery of product releases.
Identify and mitigate risks, and proactively address technical challenges.
Write and test code, conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in software development.
Proven experience of years as a software developer, with a track record of delivering complex software Product releases.
Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
Essential Technical Skills- C#, SQL Server, relational database design, .NET (framework & core), Entity Framework, MS Test, Moq or similar unit test framework, Services (Rest / SOAP), DevOps - CI/CD including the use of Quality Gates to maintain high levels of code, Agile (Scrum\Kanban) , Test Driven Development, WCF, ASP.NET particularly MVC Desirable Technical Skills- Experience of middleware e.g., Aptia is committed to celebrating the diversity of its employees and are proud to be an Equal Opportunities employer.
