Your Role : Viking's warehouse management systems are critical to the delivery of our services to our customers.
You will take responsibility for Manhattan's 2020 WMS platforms ensuring they are performing at their optimum capability and serving the needs of our associates and ultimately our customers.
This also includes leading a small team of WMS technicians to ensure continued improvement of all aspects of the WMS system by partnering with the business to take onboard requirements and needs and delivering class leading solutions.
Your Responsibilities : Work with WM Lead to assist with design, scheduling and implementation of enhancements and upgrades with a focus on quality of delivery Actively participate in Incident and Problem management including recommendation and implementation of improvements to ensure issues do not recur Provide expertise to assist project teams implementing new solutions Work with Integration teams (internal and external) to ensure interfaces and other business applications communicate effectively with WMS Work with WM Lead to manage the performance of the relevant supplier(s) to ensure IT are able to adhere to agreed SLA's Own tasks through to completion or follow an escalation process Your Profile: At least two years' experience in an IT WMS Technician role working with Manhattan Warehouse Management Systems, ideally 2017+.
Previous experience of application configuration and/or development Strong relationship management skills Previous experience of specification writing for Manhattan developed extensions an advantage Strong SQL skills are essential with experience of creating/modifying PL/SQL triggers, procedures and packages an advantage Technical Linux skills including Linux Bash scripting would be a bonus Good problem resolution skills Experience of working within an Agile framework preferential Strong communication skills including ability to communicate complex technical issues to a non-technical audience Willingness to travel - occasional visits to our German DC Knowledge of IBM iSeries and/or Oracle Cloud would be an advantage but not essential TPBN1_UKTJ
