Senior Design Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Design Engineer for a leading company in the oil and gas sector, based in Aberdeen.

Key Responsibilities Develop and review engineering designs and technical drawings using AutoCAD and CADWORKS.
Lead the design, testing, and qualification of new products and equipment.
Collaborate with clients on specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Oversee prototype design, assembly, and testing in the workshop.
Manage project documentation, design approvals, and reporting.
Requirements Degree in Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of experience in a similar role within the oil and gas industry.
Strong understanding of API manufacturing standards and packer design.
Proficient in AutoCAD and CADWORKS.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
