Main duties of the job About the roleWe have an exciting opportunity for a senior credit controller to join our finance team as we embark onto our next stage of continued growth.The role holder will be responsible for providing financial analysis and recommendations to the Commercial Team during contract negotiations; ongoing financial performance monitoring of the active contracts; and taking a leading role in actively managing the outstanding aged debt position across all CHEC entities.

Job description Job responsibilities We are looking for someone who can:Provide analysis and insight to the Commercial TeamComplete monthly contract financial performance reviewsLiaise across the Finance team to ensure the impact of any new contracts or changes to existing contracts are correctly reflectedIdentify and manage key relationships across ICBs, Trusts, Private Healthcare InsuranceLiaise across the Contract Management and Finance teams to ensure a full understanding of the outstanding aged debt position and lead the weekly aged debt review meetingEscalate issues where needed with internal and external stakeholders Person Specification Experience Essential What youll bring to the role: Finance and Accountancy related qualification/degrees Knowledge of NHS Contracts and processes, either from previous work in an ICB or as an NHS supplier.
Experience working within Credit Control Confident communicator and ability to adapt communication styles to achieve desired results.
