Senior Commercial Contracts Officer

Due to continued growth we are currently looking for an experienced Senior Commercial Contracts Officer to join our Commercial team.
You will be responsible for interpreting commercial agreements, identifying key risks, and managing the entire lifecycle of customer and supplier contracts.
This role involves working closely with various teams to ensure contracts are executed efficiently, risks are managed, and contractual obligations are met.
A day in the Life of an Aiimi Senior Commercial Contracts Officer: Contract Interpretation & Risk Management: Interpret commercial agreements, identifying key risks, liabilities, and commitments.
Bid Support: Assist in the bidding process, helping to secure new business and manage existing contracts.
Contract Review & Negotiation: Review, draft, and negotiate bids and commercial agreements in alignment with business policies.
Contract Summaries & Handover: Create summaries of existing contracts and ensure a smooth transition of new contracts to delivery teams.
Change Management: Collaborate with contract delivery teams to manage change requests and ensure changes are implemented in accordance with contract terms.
Performance Review: Assess contract performance, manage commercial risks, and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks on client and third-party contracts.
Vendor & Subcontractor Support: Maintain and support relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
Negotiations: Support contract negotiations with both customers and suppliers.
Process Development: Assist in developing and refining commercial processes and operational procedures.
Document Management: Ensure that all signed contracts, amendments, and other legal documents are securely stored.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in both pre- and post-contract management.
Experience in both public and private sector contracting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment, handling tasks within tight or fluid deadlines.
High attention to detail, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Hands-on experience in legal, commercial management, or procurement roles.
Experience in customer and supplier contract negotiations.
Ability to build effective working relationships with external customers and internal business functions.
