Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist in Cystic FibrosisAre you looking for your next challenge that will help shape the future of the CF service in Barts Health? If so, we are looking to appoint an ambitious Lead Nurse who will undertake the leadership and management of the CF Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) within Barts Health NHS Trust.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your leadership skills. We provide a high-quality service caring for both adolescents and adults living with CF. The post holder will support and manage a team of CNS's and will work closely with the CF medical colleagues, Senior Nurse, General Managers, and Service Managers at St Bartholomew's Hospital.
They will also need to have an interest in participating and contributing to service improvement and development. You will need to be highly organised and have the ability to build a strong working relationship with the multi-disciplinary team. In addition, you will be expected to lead on quality improvement projects and ensure the agendas for the service are achieved and maintained.
Main duties of the jobThe post holder is responsible for providing a seamless specialist cystic fibrosis (CF) site-specific service aimed at continuously improving standards of patient care and ensuring a multi-professional approach. This will be achieved by clinical practice, education, research, and audit as well as professional activities taking into account corporate and directorate objectives and within a clinical governance framework.
