Job summary We are looking for Full time Clinical Fellow in Urogynaecology .
The appointment is to commence in December 2024 for a fixed term period of 12months.
The successful candidate should be at a training level of ST3 - 5 in obstetrics and gynaecology and hold a National Training Number.
The post holder will apply for an Out-of-Programme for Research (OOPR) in order to undertake the post.
As this is not recognised as a 'training post', full registration with the GMC with a licence to practise is needed, and if the appointee does not hold right of residence in the UK, sponsorship will be required.
Main duties of the job The successful candidate will work closely with the consultants and the clinical teams in the Sheffield Mesh Centre and have the opportunity to gain invaluable experience and training whilst working in a busy tertiary referral centre.
The doctor will have an academic supervisor who will support the research component, and an educational supervisor to support clinical components of the post and assist in meeting the individual's training and career goals including appraisal.The successful trainee should be at a training level of ST3+ in obstetrics and gynaecology, and is expected to take on responsibilities associated with this role.
