We are currently recruiting for a Community CAMHS Specialty Doctor position in the Mid-Essex CAMHS Team, based at Skyline Plaza, 45 Victoria Avenue, Southend-on-Sea, Essex, SS2 6BB.

You will join 1wte substantive CAMHS Consultants within the service, and will have the opportunity to influence future direction, treatment, and models of design in the area in which you work.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities You will be expected to:·Workaspartofmultidisciplinaryteamsprovidingcaretochildrenandyoungpeople with mental health needs, across Southend-on-Sea.·Provideseniormedicalsupporttotheteam,anddirectinputonclinicalcases.·Provideguidanceandsupervisiontotheteam.·Work directly with children and young people and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external CAMHS mental health providers, and acute hospitals.·Work alongside the CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist within the service and share clinical supervision requirements for the team.·Developlinksalreadyestablishedwiththelocalacutetrusts'A&Edepartments and inpatient wards.·Beresponsibleforpatientsallocatedtothemandwillassess,manage,plan,and deliver care.·Supportyourpeersandtheteammanagerandbeaneffectiveteammember whilst working on their own initiative.·Supervisejuniorcolleaguesandliaisewithotherhealthandsocialprofessionals and agencies.
