This position is reporting into the Senior Procurement Manager, who over the last 10 years has progressing and worked within 5 different positions.
The Senior Buyer will be the face of procurement for the site.
Supporting both tactical procurement as well as working with the central procurement team to ensure category strategies positively impact the Basingstoke site.
Ensure continuous supply of raw materials Optimise the weekly procurement plan by running exception message reports and adjusting the order book with suppliers accordingly Support supplier business reviews to improve our supplier relationship, and implement action plans when recurrent supply issue occurs Represent procurement on daily tiered meetings Source and implement alternative raw material when supplier discontinuation are taking place for the site/Group of sites.
