Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to join our clients growing team.
This pivotal role involves working closely with a broad spectrum of clients across various sizes and industries offering significant variety in your daily responsibilities.
You will be engaged in bookkeeping preparing management accounts and handling VAT work.
Perform daily bookkeeping using Xero accounting software including invoice processing and bank reconciliations.
Review bookkeeping work prepared by junior team members.
Reconcile control accounts.
Post monthly wages journals.
Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts to a high standard.
Prepare and file monthly and quarterly VAT returns under various VAT schemes.
Prepare and file monthly CIS returns.
Liaise with clients on queries and submissions.
Provide training to clients on Xero.
Undertake other adhoc duties as required.
Requirements Recent and relevant bookkeeping experience including preparing and submitting VAT returns and reconciling control accounts.
Experience in preparing management accounts is desirable but training will be provided.
AAT qualified.
Xero certified.
Handson diligent and able to demonstrate excellent client interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask.
Keen attention to detail.
Proficient in Excel Word and Outlook.
Team player with a strong work ethic and drive.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
