We are working on an exclusive search for an experienced Audit Responsible Individual (Audit RI) for a prominent, high-growth advisory firm, known for its international expertise and dynamic work environment.

Purpose of the Senior Audit Director Role They are seeking an experienced audit Responsible Individual (RI) to join their team as a Senior Audit Director.
This role is integral to leading and expanding their audit team.
The ideal candidate will bring over 5 years of RI experience, excellent communication skills, and strong leadership abilities.
Senior Audit Director Key Responsibilities Client Management: Oversee a diverse portfolio of corporate clients, managing various sizes and financial reporting frameworks.
Leadership and Strategy: Lead the audit team in formulating audit strategies and planning.
Develop and execute both short-term and long-term goals for the team.
Quality and Compliance: Ensure high standards of audit quality, ethics, and compliance.
Business Development: Engage in proactive business development activities, including domestic and international networking, and represent the firm at industry events and conferences.
Opportunities and Proposals: Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Actively participate in audit tenders and proposals.
Team Development: Mentor and appraise team members at manager level.
Foster professional growth and manage performance appraisals.
Budget and Performance: Oversee departmental budget and monitor key financial metrics, including revenue, EBITDA, and billing efficiencies.
Recruitment: Identify staffing needs and lead recruitment efforts to build a robust audit team.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with other directors to implement a comprehensive strategic plan.
Regulatory Compliance: Act as a statutory director for the audit business and ensure completion of all regulatory reporting requirements.
Senior Audit Director Knowledge and Experience Attributes/Technical Skills Demonstrated leadership and strategic vision.
Strong internal and external communication skills.
Up-to-date technical knowledge of audit and accounting standards.
Ability to collaborate effectively with other directors to advance team development.
Senior Audit Director Relevant Experience Current RI with 5+ years of experience.
Experience with CaseWare audit software preferred.
Familiarity with international clients and inward investment into the UK is beneficial.
Proficiency in UK GAAP and IFRS; knowledge of US GAAP is advantageous but not required.
Educational and Professional Qualifications Ideally ACA qualified (or equivalent).
ACCA qualified candidates will also be considered.
