Senior Accounts Assistant Worcester based with a balance of home and office working £29,950 - £31,526 per year (pro rata) 35 hours per week – Monday to Friday Temporary position for up to 12 months We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Finance Officer to join our Central Services Finance Team, based at our head office in Worcester.
The team consists of 7 people and is responsible for the Business Partnering and Management accounting for Central Services.
The role of Senior Accounts Assistant will include: Providing accurate and timely financial information whilst maintaining effective financial systems, to support decision making and business planning Assisting in the production of statutory financial information for year-end audit Responsibility for supporting the reconciliation of accounts to ensure income and expenditure is appropriately accounted for, whilst also ensuring data is accurately recorded Identifying areas for improvement and shortfalls in service delivery and recommending actions to remedy this, as appropriate Skills and experiences: AAT part/fully qualified, or equivalent level of qualification is desirable Previous experience in a similar transactional finance role along with strong analytical skills is essential The ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise work loads Excellent communication and customer service skills with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications with proven excel analysis skills using a variety of functions and formulas Previous experience using SAP would be an advantage Why work for us?
