SEN Teaching Assistant 4myschools have a vacancy for an enthusiastic and committed SEN TA (Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant) to join us working in Primary and Secondary schools in Thetford, Norfolk.
This role is for either daily supply or for long term assignments.This is within mainstream settings as a 1:1 SEN TA or within SRB ( Specialist Resource Base) units within schools.

Responsibilities of the SEN Teaching Assistant: Assist students with SEN in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities.
Support individual learning plans, helping to implement strategies and interventions.
Foster a positive and nurturing environment to boost students' confidence and independence.
Collaborate with teachers and other staff to monitor progress and share insights on student development.
Contribute to the creation of a safe and engaging learning environment.
Requirements for the SEN Teaching Assistant: Experience working with children with SEN/Care Worker.
A relevant qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse needs.
Knowledge of specific SEN strategies and interventions is advantageous.
