Your Role as a SEN Teaching Assistant: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students learning and development, adapting to individual needs to help each student reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities: Supporting students with various special educational needs, including ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health), Dyslexia, and Physical Disabilities.
Providing personalised support aligned with each students Individual Education Plan (IEP), under the guidance of the class teacher or SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator).
Offering 1-to-1 support for students with complex needs, helping them engage in lessons and work towards individual learning goals.
What the School is Looking For: High-achieving graduate in Psychology or a similar field, ideally from a Russell Group university.
A passion for a career in Educational Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Clinical or Child Psychology, or Art/Music Therapy.
Strong ability to support students with additional needs, including those with social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
