Securitas is looking for a dedicated Security Officer to protect people and property within Norwich.As a vital member of our security team, you'll be on the frontline, closely monitoring activities and reporting any incidents with tools such as wands and metal detectors.

Make a real difference in the safety and well-being of those you protect by joining us today!Job OpportunityCCTV operationsFront of HousePatrol Duties: Carry out internal and external patrols, day and night, in all weather conditions to ensure the security and integrity of the siteCustomer-Facing Environment: Work in a customer-facing environment, handling situations politely, tactfully, and discreetlyAccess Control: Manage access to the site at various control points, vehicle barriers, and reception stations, ensuring adherence to access control measures and identification checksEmergency Response: Perform musters, evacuations, and other roles as required in the event of an emergencySearch Duties: Conduct searches of vehicles and bags to maintain high security levels and meet client requirementsEscort Duties: Escort and chaperone VIPs and other visitors as neededKey Management: Issue keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions (AIs)Safety Reporting: Report and record any faults, health and safety hazards, and unsafe working practicesSkills Required:Vigilant and Reliable: Ensure the safety and security of the site through diligent patrols and monitoringStrong Communication: Handle interactions with customers and visitors effectively and with discretionAttention to Detail: Maintain high standards of security through thorough searches and access controlAdaptability: Handle various roles and responsibilities with flexibility and professionalismCommitment to Safety: Proactively report and address any safety hazards or security breachesEssential SkillsDriving licence and access to own vehicleReside within 30 miles from siteValid SIA licence 5 year checkable employment/education history2+ years of security experienceComputer literateDE&ISecuritas is an all-inclusive employer, and we encourage individuality within our company.
