Securitas is looking for a dedicated Security Officer to protect people and property.As a vital member of our security team, you'll be on the frontline, closely monitoring activities and reporting any incidents with tools such as wands and metal detectors.

Make a real difference in the safety and well-being of those you protect by joining us today!Job OpportunityMonitor Surveillance Systems – Continuously observe CCTV cameras and security systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.Patrol Premises – Conduct regular patrols of the property, both inside and outside, to ensure the safety of the premises and prevent unauthorized access.Access Control – Manage and monitor the entry and exit points of the site, ensuring only authorized individuals gain access.Respond to Incidents – Quickly respond to emergencies, disturbances, or incidents, including fire alarms, break-ins, or medical emergencies, and take appropriate action.Report and Document Security Issues – Maintain detailed logs and incident reports for any security-related events or unusual activities, ensuring proper documentation for legal or company purposes.Enforce Policies and Procedures – Ensure that security protocols and company policies are followed, including checking employee or visitor identification and conducting security screenings.Provide Customer Service – Assist employees, visitors, or clients by answering questions, offering directions, or providing other services while maintaining security.Prevent Theft and Vandalism – Take proactive measures to deter theft, vandalism, and other crimes through surveillance, presence, and intervention.Monitor Alarms – Respond to alarm activations and investigate the cause, ensuring appropriate action is taken.Ensure Safety Compliance – Ensure that all security procedures meet regulatory and safety standards, and report any violations or hazards.Essential SkillsDriving licence and access to own vehicle.Valid SIA licence. 5 year checkable employment/education history.DE&ISecuritas is an all-inclusive employer, and we encourage individuality within our company.
