Security Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Security Engineer to join our team. The Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security measures to protect our organization's computer systems, networks, and data. This role requires a thorough understanding of the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and compliance requirements, as well as a proactive approach to mitigating security risks.

Key ResponsibilitiesSecurity Architecture and Implementation: Design and implement security solutions to protect systems, networks, and data, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and encryption technologies.Risk Assessment and Management: Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability tests to identify potential risks and weaknesses. Develop strategies to mitigate these risks and implement corrective measures.Incident Response and Investigation: Respond to security incidents, conduct thorough investigations, and provide detailed reports. Work to contain and mitigate the impact of security breaches.Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards such as GDPR and ISO 27001. Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and guidelines.Monitoring and Auditing: Continuously monitor security systems and networks for unusual activities and potential threats. Conduct regular security audits and assessments to ensure the integrity and security of systems.Collaboration and Training: Work closely with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into system design and development. Provide training and guidance to staff on security policies and practices.Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of security incidents, changes, and updates.
