As a Secondary Cover Supervisor , you will play a critical role in maintaining continuity during teacher absences by managing classrooms, delivering pre-set work, and supporting students to stay on task.

Responsibilities: Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans to secondary school students across various subjects.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
Ensure students remain engaged and productive during lessons.
Provide feedback to the teaching staff regarding student progress and any incidents.
Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and year groups.
Requirements: Previous experience working with secondary-age students is desirable but not essential.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Confidence and the ability to manage a classroom effectively.
Flexibility and adaptability to work across different subjects and year groups.
A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
