Position Overview The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering a comprehensive and engaging Science curriculum to students across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on expertise.
The role entails fostering a stimulating and inquirybased learning environment that encourages critical thinking scientific curiosity and a deep understanding of the scientific world.
Key Responsibilities: Design and deliver inspiring Science lessons that align with the national curriculum and the schools high expectations for achievement.
Create a dynamic classroom atmosphere that promotes student engagement participation and a love of learning.
Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual growth and attainment.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Science department and across the school to enrich the learning experience.
Stay abreast of current pedagogical approaches and developments in Science education.
Qualifications and Experience: A Bachelors degree or higher in a Science subject or a closely related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
Demonstrated experience teaching Science at the secondary level.
