The School Business Manager will play a pivotal role in the effective operation of the school, ensuring that all non-teaching aspects are managed efficiently to support the delivery of outstanding education.
Key responsibilities include: Financial Management: Oversee the school's budget, financial planning, and reporting, ensuring financial sustainability and compliance.
Human Resources: Manage recruitment, staff records, and HR processes, promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Facilities and Health & Safety: Ensure the school's facilities are well-maintained and compliant with health and safety standards.
Administration: Oversee administrative functions, ensuring processes are streamlined and support the school's vision and objectives.
Strategic Leadership: Work closely with the Headteacher and senior leadership team to contribute to the strategic direction of the school.
The successful candidate will be a proactive, organized, and forward-thinking professional with: Relevant Qualifications: A degree or professional qualification in Business Management, Accountancy, or a related field (e.g., CSBM, DSBM, or equivalent).
Proven Experience: Experience in a similar role within an educational setting, preferably with knowledge of SEN requirements.
Financial Expertise: Strong skills in budget management, financial reporting, and resource allocation.
Leadership Abilities: The capability to lead and inspire teams, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Problem-Solving Skills: A solutions-focused approach, able to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing circumstances.
