Sap Finance Consultant

We are searching for an experienced SAP Finance Consultant to oversee the successful implementation of SAP ECC6, replacing a legacy ERP system for our client's UK business.
Working closely with the business, finance teams, and the existing project team, you will provide SAP Finance expertise across design, data migration, testing, and integration processes, ensuring the solution aligns with UK-specific requirements.
Responsibilities Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into SAP Finance solutions.
Provide expertise in Book to Report processes, with integration into Procure to Pay and Order to Cash.
Support data migration activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness during the transition.
Develop, review, and execute test scripts, managing integration and user acceptance testing.
Liaise regularly with the SAP centre in Spain, acting as a key contact for the UK implementation and providing constructive feedback.
Ensure compliance with best practices, UK-specific accounting standards, and technical requirements.
Identify and resolve design and configuration issues promptly.
Engage and communicate effectively with the finance and wider project teams to foster collaboration.
Provide training and support to end users, enhancing system adoption and knowledge transfer.
Maintain detailed project documentation and contribute to progress reports.
