Your main tasks include, among others: Achieves sales budget targets for assigned accountsCreates rate offers, with and without guarantee of transportationEnters into transportation agreements with customersAcquires new customers and searches for new businessOrganizes customer events Identifies and manages opportunities with existing customers with the goal to negotiate new profitable business focused on long-term or regular businessPerforms market and single customer analysisOrganizes and performs sales visitsMaintains customer data and captures sales activitiesActively pushes the eChannel usage and promotes eAWBManages capacity agreements(Re-)Negotiates special rate agreements Develops and sells customer oriented logistic solutionsShares information about activities, offers, strengths and weaknesses of his customers Actively supports the local Customer Segmentation processActively pushes the eChannel usage and follows up Spot QuotesActs as touch point for claims and complaints towards the customer and forwards the requests to the respective departments The ideal Sales Representative should meet the following requirements:High school diploma/GED requiredBachelor's degree desirable 2-3 years previous cargo experience, preferred sales experience or in a related area such as in the transport and logistics industryEnglish requiredGerman desirableIndustry knowledge (Airfreight, Logistics, Transportation, Sales)Advanced IT knowledge, preferably including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookKnowledge of all relevant LH Cargo systems *Company will not provide relocation assistance*Must possess a legal work permit in the United Kingdom
