What You Will DoThe role of the Parts and Service Sales Manager is an exciting opportunity within Johnson Controls Global Marine & Navy to develop our focus on parts sales and new service growth in this segment with new and existing key accounts throughout the UK but predominantly in Aberdeen area.
We are seeking a motivated and customer-orientated Parts and Service Seller to join our team.
The role is to focus on fire and safety equipment product supply and servicing business across the Oil & Gas and Commercial Marine sector, including growing share-of-wallet and cross-selling additional products and services to new customers.
Working closely with and supported by our operations team in the UK, you will be instrumental in performing the sales growth initiative.

Ensuring your strategies success, you will take key findings to continuously adapt your sales strategy to deliver growth.
You will also ensure effective adoption of Company systems, tools, pricing policies and sales processes.Through using our current market intelligence and industry networking tools you will blend field activity with conversations with new clients to capture any opportunities available to you.Salesforce.com is the CRM tool within the business and our Marketing function is also able to support with external communications and tailoring customer campaigns you require to assist you with performing your growth strategy.To Be Successful in This Role You WillMange existing key accounts whilst developing new business opportunities.Build business development strategies to improve sales opportunities in our target markets.Identify the best existing accounts to target for growth as well as identifying and converting new account opportunities.Monitor competitor activities & new developments.Lead the complete sales process from opportunity identification to sales closure, coordinating inputs from other business stakeholders.Develop a sales pipeline to ensure installation order booking requirements are met.Handle leads and drive sales performance using Salesforce.Contribute to our Commercial Marine and Oil & Gas growth rooms to improve opportunity creation and cross sell opportunities.Continuously strive and find opportunities for continuous improvement.Ensure that there is effective and efficient bid management.What We Look ForExperience in developing new business through excellent client relationships and proactive planning.
Experience in Parts Sales and/or field sales and in-depth knowledge of the complexities of relationship selling as well as planning, business development, opportunity, and pipeline management.Ideally you will have experience of Salesforce.com CRM application including Altify and experience within a large organisation where matrix structures are common.Existing experience and an established client base within the Commercial Marine and/or Oil, Gas & Marine market would be ideal.Preferred ExperienceProven track record of selling parts and/or technical service solutions on fire protection systems, HVAC systems within the Commercial Marine or Oil, Gas & Marine Market.
