Sales Executive - Bury St Edmunds - £35,000+ Bonus + Car Applications are welcomed from suitable candidates with an existing Right to Work in the UK and without the requirement for sponsorship.
Our client, a reputable manufacturer of large agricultural and haulage equipment, is looking for a driven Sales Representative to join their team in Bury St Edmunds.
This role is ideal for candidates with a background in agricultural machinery or capital equipment sales, with a focus on building new business relationships.
If you enjoy a mix of office work and UK-wide travel, this role offers a great opportunity to make an impact in a company with over 40 years of industry expertise.
Role: Manage customer relationships, including in-office support and UK travel for client visits and trade shows.
Conduct site surveys, capturing photos and measurements to inform product recommendations.
Understand technical requirements to effectively advise customers and create quotations.
Organize and attend exhibitions, providing input on social media, website content, and marketing materials.
Coordinate and manage advertising in trade publications.
Convert customer inquiries into orders, ensuring smooth handover to internal teams.
70% office-based with travel around the UK Salary/Benefits: Salary of £35,000 (doe) OTE bonus up to £7,000 annually Company car or car allowance after 6 months Comprehensive product training with senior staff Company mobile phone and all necessary PPE provided Collaborative work environment in a close-knit, privately owned company Skills/Experience: Experience in new product sales (ideally agricultural machinery).
Strong understanding of technical specifications and product capabilities, with an ability to communicate them effectively.
Background in agriculture, particularly UK farming practices (preferred but not essential).
Excellent communication and organizational skills with a customer-focused mindset.
Proficiency in using company systems for record-keeping and customer management.
Willingness to travel and occasionally work additional hours as needed.
Full UK driving licence.
