Sales Director

We are working with one of the countries specialist engineering suppliers, and are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Director to join their growing team.
This is a remote position requiring regular travel within the UK.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

About the Role:
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market penetration.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the precision engineering sector.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Lead and motivate a sales team to achieve performance objectives.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends and customer needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales initiatives.
Provide accurate sales forecasting and reporting.
About You:
Proven track record in sales leadership within the machining, precision engineering, defence industries.
Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
Experience in developing and managing sales teams.
