Job summary Purbeck Health Centre is seeking a salaried GP to join their busy practice, for 6 sessions per week.
Working as part of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to support and care for a diverse patient group.
The role will include all general duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.
Main duties of the job Duty doctor available both days.
One home visit per day.
20 same day, face to face appointments.
10 minute appointment slots.
Built in administration - totalling 5 hrs per day.
Morning session, 9 patients/afternoon session 11 patients.
1 hour lunch break.
All paperwork, tasks, prescriptions, letters, results etc.
Supported by nursing team.
5 weeks annual leave + 1 week study leave.We currently have two GP partners, a salaried GP, a physician associate, a nurse practitioner, two practice nurses, a diabetes nurse, a HCA and a part time phlebotomist, supported by a team of friendly reception staff, a secretary and a very experienced practice manager.
