Job summary Bryntirion Surgery is a well-establishedsurgery with approximately under new management, we currently havea fantastic opportunity for a General Practitioner to join their close knitteams.
You will work autonomously alongside our welcoming and supportiveNursing and Administration team.An excellent opportunity to develop skills and broadenexperience within this proactive surgery.
Main duties of the job Your responsibilities as a General Practitioner;Thefollowing are the core responsibilities of the General Practitioner.
There maybe on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependentupon factors such as workload and staffing levelsPerform clinical examinations of patients to assess,diagnose and monitor conditionsCarry out patient consultations at home and within thesurgeryMonitor patients' conditions and wellbeingCarry out clinical examinationsDiagnose and treat various illnesses/ailmentsLiaise with other healthcare professionals (,midwives, pharmacists, health visitors and psychiatrists) as part ofmultidisciplinary teamsOpportunity to become involved with Enhanced Servicessuch as- Minor Surgery/Joint Injections- IUD/Implants- Diabetes- Substance Misuse Clinic About us As we mentioned before, the surgery is undernew management however, we aren't looking at making huge changes as we knowthat the surgery and their teams are held in very high regard.We are very family focused and have been serving our community for many, many years.The successful post-holder will manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.In accordance with the practice timetable, as agreed, the post-holder will make themselves available to undertake a variety of duties, including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion.
