Job Type: Permanent - Part Time 21 hoursLocation: This role could be based in either our Wythall, Telford or Edinburgh offices with time spent working in the office and at home.

The role We're currently recruiting for a Review Actuary to join our Actuarial Review team within the Financial Reporting Centre, providing a focus on our non-Matched business.
You will provide a professional service applying actuarial technical knowledge & business knowledge to support the delivery of informed & effective decision making in order to deliver the company strategy.
In this role you will join a team of Review Actuaries to produce the quarterly valuation results and be responsible for supporting sign off of the results across a number of Non Profit funds within the Life Company.In this role, you will become an expert on the non-profit business in Phoenix and provide support to the Review team in reporting financial results, responding to regulatory queries and on projects.
As you develop subject matter expertise you will have the opportunity to work with stakeholders throughout the business on a key business line.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a qualified or newly qualified actuary with experience in actuarial reporting , or other life actuarial disciplines.
Knowledge of financial reporting metrics, in particular SII, is highly desirable, as is experience of reporting on those metrics.
Experience delivering consistent quality work within fixed and often tight deadlines is also highly relevant to the role.
Someone who is keen to learn quickly in a changing environment having a strong appetite for change and experience of driving continuous improvement will fit well with the role.
