Job summary We are offering a supported Return to Practice Programme for Podiatrists.
If you are a qualified Podiatrist looking to return to practice or have you previously been on the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC) register and live in the Gloucestershire area, we want to hear from you.
We can offer a flexible programme of Return to Practice and are interested in hearing from both full and part-time applicants and are happy to discuss individual requirements.
What we offer Our Return to Practice programme, includes supervised placement practice, formal continued professional development, a competency portfolio and peer support to enable subsequent application for HCPC re-registration.
Support throughout the programme and during recruitment process Friendly and supportive colleagues Professional development opportunities across the trust The opportunity to apply for registered roles within the trust on achievement of your HCPC registration.
this role will be unpaid up until achieving HCPC pin.
Following this the post will be on the AfC Band 4 scale.
Main duties of the job To support you back, contracted hours can be agreed on an individual basis according to service needs and re-registration requirements.
An honorary contract will be required.

Person Specification Education / Qualifications Essential Completion of Allied Health Profession Degree Registered for the Return to Practice programme or working towards this Experience Essential Clinical experience of delivering direct patient care Ability to work collaboratively within a team and inter-professionally Good communication skills (written and verbal) Desirable Post-registration clinical care in a range of settings
