The role   30 hours per week   Reserve duty covering various shifts 5 days across Monday to Saturday working between 03:00 - 21:00   Your day will start by planning your delivery route to a schedule, whilst multi drop experience is an advantage it is not essential; we are looking for reliable, trustworthy staff who can deliver our customers promise.

Your responsibilities then include collecting and delivering pouches, parcels, tote boxes to small and large businesses in our portfolio.
You will scan items on and off route to ensure tracking information is available to customers and colleagues.
You must enjoy driving, even at peak hours and be able to lift and carry parcels weighing up to 30kg and be willing to work paid overtime including possible Saturday overtime.
We are looking for positive team players who are willing and flexible enough to help colleagues ensure that all our customers get their items to their customers on time.
You must enjoy customer interaction; have great communication/Interpersonal skills which will help us deliver our usual excellent customer service.
You will require the following:   •    A full UK manual driving licence (in your current UK address), with no more than 6 penalty points is essential but ideally a clean licence is preferred, please note you will be required to show this at assessment.
•    Your driving licence must cover vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes     The benefits   We are looking to offer Fixed Term contracts for 12 months,   with the following benefits for the right candidates:   Pay monthly, hourly rate of £12.54p/hr  Plus overtime and shift allowances   Additional Benefits •    Opportunity to increase earning potential by working overtime •    4.5 weeks holiday entitlement per annum, increasing with service •    Corporate discounts •    Company pension scheme after qualifying period •    Development opportunities •    Full Uniform supplied    Please note, once our maximum number of applications has been reached, this vacancy will be withdrawn.
This role requires you to work in a high security environment.
If successful at interview, you can therefore typically expect to have a waiting period of up to 12 weeks while your application goes through our screening process.
This process includes collecting references for your employment history in the last 5 years and also the completion of Financial Security Checks.
Unfortunately if you have been the subject of bankruptcy proceedings, a county court judgement or have an Individual Voluntary Agreement (IVA) in the past 6 years you will not be eligible to apply for this vacancy.
