Job summary Clinical Research Fellow in Paediatric Rare Conditions.The post will be based within Manchester Centre for Genomic Medicine and will be supporting research studies across Manchester Rare Conditions Centre and the NIHR Children's Clinical Research Facility.Candidates that are non-GMC registered at the point of application will be considered for this position, under the Trusts International Fellowship Scheme (please note, there is a £750 admin charge for this scheme).

Main duties of the job The role of the Clinical Research Fellow will be to support the existing portfolio of rare disease Clinical Research projects within the children's CRF and beyond.
There will be opportunity to accrue clinical experience within the regional and supraregional metabolic service.The post is not recognised for training however would be suitable for a trainee applying for Out-of-Programme for Research.
Educational and Academic Supervisor for this post, Prof Siddharth Banka will support the research component and the clinical components of the post, assisting in meeting the individual's training and career goals, including regular appraisal and support to complete appropriate work-place based assessments.
