Research Fellow In Tissue Engineering Of Pancreatic Cancer

About the role Role specific details : The post-holder's primary research work will focus on (i) developing and characterising composite polyurethane-peptide scaffolds with cutting edge material fabrication/characterisation techniques (ii) using the developed scaffolds for the design and full biological characterisation of advanced multicellular models of pancreatic cancer (with advanced imaging as well as molecular biology techniques).This role is available from February for 24 months in the first instance.
There is some flexibility on the starting date, following discussion with Prof Velliou.Research Fellows - 'Appointment at Grade 7 is dependent upon having been awarded a PhD; if this is not the case, initial appointment will be at Grade 6B (salary £ 38, - £41, per annum) with payment at Grade 7 being backdated to the date of final submission of the PhD Thesis.'
