Who are we?
We provide an information archival and exploitation service in the Defence sector, situated in Watford, Hertfordshire, but with sites in Central London.
We are a small team of experts who specialise in data recovery, data processing, research and analysis.
As demand for our services increases, we are looking to grow the team; with our current vacancy suiting an experienced research analyst.
What is the role?
Manage and record all requests for information (RFIs) in a detailed and consistent manner.
Effectively triage RFIs on receipt to manage deadline expectations.
Assess RFI complexity and duration, forecasting research response times.
Cross reference new tasks with previous requests to minimise duplication.
Undertake research and analysis work as required, to include: The development of research terms and strategies.
The identification and review of research results.
The creation of assessments and/or synopses of results when required.
The managed transfer of completed RFI responses.
What are we looking for in a candidate?
Applicants will be able to evidence and demonstrate analytical skills required for extensive research tasks.
Experience of deploying as part of military operations in an analytical or intelligence-facing role.
Applicants must be able to manage stakeholders of varying seniority.
The ability to work as part of a small team, driving software development that addresses the customer/researchers needs.
All applicants must hold or be willing and able to obtain DV clearance.
Preferred experiences in a successful candidate?
Provision of knowledge and advice on operational reporting methods and military record keeping processes.
Assisting with the development and refinement of Department wide research strategies.
Stakeholder engagement with assistance provided on matters of specialised military vernacular and the events reported on.
A history of maintaining situational awareness of customer activities, both in volume and scale, leading to written and verbal summaries.
Natural collaborator with teams of all sizes in either localised or multi-department settings, with an ambitious mindset.
What do we offer?
Salary negotiable based upon experience.
Starting £55,000 to £65,000.
25-day annual leave per annum plus bank holidays.
Flexible or compressed working hours.
Part-time working will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Potential for cross-site working in London offices, after a probationary period and successful completion of training.

What do you need to consider?
Due to the nature of the work that we perform there is currently no option for home-based or remote working.
