Job summary Fixed term contract/ secondment opportunity for 12 monthsWe are pleased to be able to offer an opportunity for an experienced, efficient and motivated individual to join our Clinical Research team.
The post available is on a part-time basis within the Adult Research Team.
Additional hours should become available in another team in the near future.You will need to have significant experience of working in an office/administration environment and have excellent communication skills with a positive and flexible approach to the workload.
If you like to be kept busy and enjoy the satisfaction of knowing you have made a difference, we would like to hear from you.Research at NNUH is conducted primarily at the NIHR Norfolk Clinical Research Facility (CRF), located at the main hospital as well as the Quadram Institute on the Norwich Research Park.
The Norfolk CRF is one of 28 NIHR- partly funded clinical research facilities networked across the UK.We have a shared goal within our team; to undertake clinical research to improve treatment and care of patients here at NNUH and beyond.
The ideal candidate will be dedicated to assisting the delivery teams in achieving their goals; as well as the importance of understanding our Trust's PRIDE values.If you are considering applying for this post on a secondment basis, please discuss with your Line Manager prior to applying to ascertain whether this could be supported.
Main duties of the job As post-holder, you will play a key role in our many ground-breaking research studies; most recently NNUH has been recognised nationally for playing a key role in the development of a highly effective new coronavirus vaccine.
We are lucky to have Norwich Research Park as our neighbour, as well as strong links to the University of East Anglia and colleagues around the region, which means you will have the opportunity to network and regularly share your knowledge and findings.The post holder will provide administrative support and organisation for clinical research projects, assisting and liaising with other research project staff as appropriate.
They will act as the first point of contact for specific research projects for enquiries from research participants and will support the general administrative functions of research projects.
They will input, process and maintain data and resources and support overall research project activity.
