Rehousing Support Officer

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Southwark to assist with the appointment of a  Rehousing Support Officer , on a 3-month contract , highly likely to be extended at clients discretion.

Rate of Pay : £21.83 - £28.42 per hour Responsibilities: Work with internal stakeholders to achieve vacant possession of schemes by key milestone dates Work with internal stakeholders to ensure that residents eligible for rehousing are pre-allocated properties in line with the local lettings agreements Prepare business case report, as necessary to enable direct offers to be made to residents where applicable Be responsible for developing and maintaining a tenant movement tracker for each estate renewal scheme and presentation of this at key meetings to receive support and guidance from key departments Work closely with Southwark Construction to identify homes that could be used to rehouse residents required to move from the estate renewal estates Qualifications: Knowledge and experience of working on a estate renewal project Ability to work on own initiative, identifying priorities and setting own targets where necessary.
Experience of providing key performance indicators statistics and reports Educated to GCSE level  Experience: Experience in administering, monitoring and tracking resident movements within a local authority or housing association environment Experience in dealing sensitively with customers in challenging and complex environments and applying good problem-solving skills Experienced in working with a range of resident groups including leaseholders Experience of working on development or major works schemes within social housing in a resident focused role Experience of collating information from a number of sources and using this to create, populate and update project plans Experience in managing complex complaints, members enquiries and casework.
Experience of communicating effectively with customers and at all levels of the organisation Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
