The flexibility in scheduling allows general nurses to balance their professional responsibilities with personal commitments, ensuring they can deliver compassionate and effective care while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.What you can add:The Radiology nursing team provide an invaluable service supportingpatients undergoing Radiology guided procedures across the Trusts three acutehospital sites.While previous Radiology nursing experience is preferable, fullinduction and training will be provided.The main duties of the role will be Supporting consultant Radiologistsundertaking radiologically guided procedures (Ultrasound and CT guidedprocedures-Biopsies and drainages), patient care and management while in theRadiology department and handover to the ward/discharge post procedureAssessing and monitoring patient conditionsChecking symptoms and vital signs and arranging diagnostic testsDisplaying excellent analytical ability and sound decision making in changing clinical situationsWorking as an effective team member and promoting team and interdisciplinary relationshipsThe role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.What youll need:A minimum of 6 months paid experience in an Acute hospital environment within the last 3 yearsComply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practicesIV CannulationClinical management of patientsFamiliar with supporting aseptic technique proceduresPre-assessment of patients prior to proceduresWho are NHS Professionals?NHS Professionals is a flexible staff bank, owned by the Department of Health, our purpose is to provide you with the autonomy to decide when, how, and where you want to work.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential A minimum of 6 months paid experience in an Acute hospital environment within the last 3 years.
