Main duties of the job To carry out the assessment of children, identifying nursing problems and needs, in partnership with their family/carer.
To assess risks to children, be able to recognise vulnerable children and respond in accordance with the Trust policy, seeking support from senior staff as appropriate.
Attend the delivery of an infant with predictable needs and safely transport and admit to SCBU.
Attend the delivery of an infant with complex needs and safely transport to SCBU with supervision if required.
