Your RoleWe are looking for a Regional Vice President, Digital Strategy & Performance for the Europe, Africa, and Middle East (EAME) region. This role will lead the direct digital revenue strategy and performance across our managed and franchised hotels, working closely with regional and global digital teams to execute key initiatives.
The RVP Digital is part of the Commercial Services leadership team and reports to the SVP Commercial Services with a functional dotted line to the SVP Global Head of Digital. The role is based in Zurich (or a UK, Spanish, French or German city with good access), with regular travel required to meet with the regional teams and align on business and performance priorities.
Your ResponsibilitiesLead Digital Strategy: Develop and implement digital revenue strategies to enhance direct bookings.Collaboration: Partner with key aspects of the regional and global digital team (media, content, analytics, product, etc.) to execute critical initiatives aimed at improving direct channel performance.Performance Communication: Lead ongoing communication on performance and strategy of EAME digital efforts across managed and franchise portfolios.Innovative Programming: Develop new and innovative programming that supports direct digital revenue growth across the EAME region.Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key conduit between EAME leadership and global digital team members on projects with significant regional impact.Owner Relations: Represent Hyatt at high-profile owner and hotel meetings to share plans, explain strategies, and foster understanding of Hyatt's digital transformation.Digital Performance Monitoring: Ensure business needs at property and corporate levels are communicated and embedded into the regional digital team's strategic focus areas.Support Digital Evolution: Support the evolution and growth of the digital strategy & performance team across EAME, ensuring optimal synchronization with regional teams in the Americas and ASPAC.Hotel Performance Engagement: Actively engage in improving the digital performance of Hotels in the region by tracking performance metrics and allocating resources effectively.Drive Guest Personalization: Constantly evaluate digital operating standards to maintain high levels of service within budgeted guidelines.QualificationsYour Qualifications & Experiences Minimum of 15 years of experience, including 8 years in leadership roles.Strong background in digital marketing, preferably within the hospitality or retail sectors.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Proficient in data analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics.Significant experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive ownership and completion of critical tasks that ladder up to larger complex projects.Bachelor's Degree required; graduate-level education is a plus.Your Attributes You are an experienced leader who can deliver to Hyatt's Leadership Expectations which includes to champion our values and purpose of care, leading and developing a diverse team, being a leader with a mindset to improve, and who drives impact.You lead with compassion, display high emotional intelligence and resume responsibility for the customer and colleague experience.You have a growth mindset, learning agility and can work across different teams.You set high standards, commitment to getting things done, focus on outcomes, and ensure accountability.As a people leader you act as a coach and mentor, support colleague development and opening opportunities for growth, and show commitment to fostering an inclusive team culture that values diverse perspectives.Discover what's next.
