On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a React Developer (TypeScript) for a 6 Month contract based Remotely (London 1 or 2 per month).
Purpose of the Role: As React Developer (TypeScript) you will create and enhance client's high quality React-based web interfaces as they're used by an ever-increasing number of people in the UK.
The client is looking for an innovative and ambitious Software Engineer, who wants to continue developing their career within a fast-growing fintech turbocharged by a great British bank, surrounded by an enthusiastic and supportive team.
As a React Developer (TypeScript) you will be responsible for: Designing and developing high quality React web applications.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design software architectures, and implement software features.
Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.
Developing and maintaining software testing suites, including unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests.
Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability.
Debugging and troubleshooting complex software issues and implementing effective solutions.
Participating in Agile development processes and ensuring code is delivered on time and to specification.
What we require from the React Developer (TypeScript) Strong programming skills in the React programming language, with a deep understanding of its features and idioms.
Knowledge of software engineering principles and practices, such as design patterns, code organization, and testing strategies.
Experience in developing and maintaining software solutions, including web applications, and Rest and GraphQL APIs.
Experience working with one or more headless CMS products to drive content in web applications.
Familiarity with software development tools, such as version control systems, issue trackers, and continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Knowledge of DatoCMS specifically would be beneficial.
