Description Quantity Surveyor – Civils / Resi Roads & SewersYorkshire£45k-£50k + BenefitsNational Civils/Groundwork Contractor - Permanent Role Our client are a National civil engineering and infrastructure contractor with a track record of delivering civils, groundworks and roads & sewers projects predominantly throughout the country.
With significant contract wins they are now looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their Commercial team in their Yorkshire office.
Given the nature of the duties of a quantity surveyor in this sector it is worth noting that although the office is based in South Yorkshire there will be the possibility of working from home and/or site.
Role/requirements as follows:•Optimising contract profitability •Provide quotations to clients for variations•Comprehensive understanding of Residential Groundworks •Accurate monthly cost and value reports•All other daily tasks performed by a Quantity SurveyorRequirements ideally:•Experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor in residential groundworks•Time management skills and meeting deadlines•Experience in value engineering•Proficient in all Microsoft packages e.g.
